About Lindy Walters
I grew up in California with my older brother, Patton, and my mom and dad, Deb & Hercules. YiaYia and Papou (Greek for Grandmother and Grandfather) were a big part of my life growing up. I learned YiaYia’s techniques for baking cookies and breads at an early age. After high school I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at Morehead State University in Kentucky. It’s there that I really learned how to cook… purely as a matter of survival. In the following two years I earned a Masters of Science Degree at Missouri State University and having mastered the art of survival cooking, I expanded into sweet goodies.
To this day, when I get together with my college friends, we always bake something yummy and often eat it right out of the pan; don’t judge me! Once my skills in the kitchen were found, I was unstoppable. Learning new techniques and refining recipes became a passion. My friends and neighbors gladly became a source of taste testers and critics. I strive to create the most delicious and beautiful baked goods for my clients. I maintain a current Food Handlers Card and am registered with Arizona Department of Health Services as part of their Home Baked and Confectionery Goods Program.
A special thank you to all of my Professional Testers.
I appreciate your honesty, support and loyalty!
